Coreopsis Moonbeam!

Summer is fading fast and flowers will soon give way to the beauty of fall colors and textures. Here’s one of my favorite perennials for the landscape – Coreopsis Moonbeam!

Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park

I spent this morning working on my fine art photography at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park located in Galloway, Ohio.  Much of my time was spent wading around and in the Big Darby Creek looking for interesting details, shapes, and colors.  The  leaves I came across where either submerged in the shallow water or wet from the flow of the Big Darby, which provided me with a unique photographic opportunity as well as many challenges controlling the light on my subjects.   I look forward to additional trips to Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park.  Thank you for viewing! – Vince

Summer Details

Just thought I’d share a unique detail.  I enjoy the challenge of finding the little gems that are often overlooked in the Summer landscape.  Enjoy!
