Thanks for viewing! – Vince  Ash Cave Falls I was hoping for a little more water at Ash Cave this morning, but I’ll take what nature provides me at this point. This Hocking Hills waterfall photo was taken above Ash Cave using a Nikon D700 and a Nikkor 24-70 2.8. F22 @ 3sec iso 100. Hopefully I can time the flow better next time for more impact. Thanks for viewing! Vince  Cedar Falls Stream Today I was fortunate to make a quick trip to Hocking Hills in search of a few detail shots. I visited Ash Cave and then headed over to Cedar Falls. I’m looking forward to more snowy scenes this winter!  The very dry conditions that have persisted throughout Hocking Hills since this Summer have definitely taken a toll on the fall color in the area. I visited Conkle’s Hollow State Nature Preserve today and through some serious persistence managed to find this unique faded fern amongst the forrest floor. The bleached out color really caught my eye! I know it’s not your typical fall color but finding original and different items like this is what drives my photography.
