  Spring Magnolia With coffee in one hand and camera remote in the other I took the long trip out to my backyard to grab a few shots of my early blooming Magnolia. Spring has arrived a few weeks earlier here in Ohio but I’m not complaining! Processed with Photoshop CS5, Nik Software Color Efex 4 and Silver Efex Pro 2. Thanks for viewing – Vince  Ash Cave Falls I was hoping for a little more water at Ash Cave this morning, but I’ll take what nature provides me at this point. This Hocking Hills waterfall photo was taken above Ash Cave using a Nikon D700 and a Nikkor 24-70 2.8. F22 @ 3sec iso 100. Hopefully I can time the flow better next time for more impact. Thanks for viewing! Vince  Darby Macro Fall Color I’m finally getting back out and shooting after taking care of a bulged disc in my lower back. I’m still finding plenty of fall color in the woodlands well beyond what many consider peak season for colors. I found many unique subjects at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. I modified the light with a 20″ diffuser and a 12″ soft gold reflector. My booth is located on the NE Green and show hours are Saturday 9-6 and Sunday 11-5. Looks like it’ll be a good weekend! Thanks! – Vince I had a great time at my first outdoor arts festival in Delaware Ohio. The new Trimline tent handled a large downpour of rain without any issues at all! Overall sales were good despite the rain and I was awarded a first place ribbon for my booth. Looking forward to exhibiting my close-up and macro nature photography at the Columbus Arts Festival, June 3-5. Thanks so much for everyone who came out to the festival!!! – Vince
