Tag Archives: OhioFall is in the air at Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, Ohio. Here are a few of the details I discovered during my visit this morning.      Here’s an image from this evening of a Smooth Aster. Trying to find the right flower and background while fighting the heat, mosquitos, mud, sweat , etc… I wasn’t sure what I would end up with but I’m satisfied with this photo. Nikon D700, Sigma 150mm macro. F5.6 @1/40sec iso 400. Thanks for viewing! – Vince  Today I had the opportunity to visit a private property owned by a friend of mine in Jackson, OH. 60+ acres of woods, cliffs, streams, caves, swamp, and natural springs contributed to a little sensory overload. I did manage to test out my new Sigma 150mm macro lens on my Nikon D700. Here are a few of the fall images from today. I hope to return to this property on a regular basis. Special thanks to my friend Dave!      Experimented this morning with some new lens combinations prior to a portrait session at Inniswood Metro Gardens. Windy conditions necessitated the use of high ISO, and shutter speed combination along with shallow depth of field. Anyway, here’s a few that didn’t immediately make it to the trash bin (not yet!)
